Paleo is an effort to eat the way we used to, back when cavemen were alive. It is a smart nutritional approach to staying lean, strong & energetic. The basic principle is if you can’t hunt or gather it, then you shouldn’t eat. So it includes lots of meat, fish, nuts, leafy greens, veggies and seeds. The typical diet in society today consists of highly refined food, trans fat and sugar which studies have proven leads to degenerative diseases such as obesity, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, depression & infertility. So what better way to combat these risks with giving Paleo a try!
When people see the word diet, it can conjure many different meanings & feelings. We are cluttered with information daily via TV, social media and society about what we should & shouldn’t eating, so it’s no wonder that it’s confusing and many people feel lost & frustrated when trying to find a good place to start. Common problems people face is restricting food groups, which in turns restricts calories. Paleo doesn’t include counting calories, because in all honesty – who has time for that?! Instead it will help you find the balance of eating until you’re not hungry whilst helping you lose weight, build muscle and feel great!
